Welcome to the Murray Public Works Website.  Murray Public Works provides natural gas, sewage treatment, refuse pickup, potable water and stormwater management to over 15,000 customers in Murray and parts of the Calloway County Area as well as a small section of Graves County.

Call Before You Dig
Murray Natural Gas and Murray Water and Wastewater Systems are members of Kentucky Underground Protection, Inc. KUPI is a non-profit organization which facilitates protection of underground utility services by way of internet and telephone call-in service. According to Kentucky State Law (KRS Chapter 367, regarding Consumer Protection) excavators are required to contact utility owner/operators at least two working days prior to ANY excavation. The KUPI Before You Dig (BUD) program produces a ticket which is faxed to affected utility services and operators mark the locations of underground lines. 

Call 1-800-752-6007 or 811 for a locate request and member utilities will be notified to mark their lines.
