The Murray Police Department has been accredited by the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police since April 2007 and our Communications Center has been accredited since June of 2015. These accreditations are based on established sets professional standards for efficient and effective operations. To achieve and maintain accreditation, the Murray Police Department continuously examines all aspects of our operations, making conscious decisions about policies and procedures that fit the needs of our community. We continue to affirm our commitment to the implementation of progressive, community-oriented methods and policies.
