Rescue

The branch of the Murray Fire Department was developed through a joint agreement between the City of Murray and the Calloway County Fiscal Court to provide an immediate response, county wide, to vehicle accidents where extrication of victims may be needed. This immediate response is required for the Murray Calloway County Hospital Ambulance Service to maintain their license. The rescue vehicle is manned by two trained personnel of the Murray Fire Department and is our most active unit. The personnel who are responsible for this unit are trained in victim extrication and assist ambulance personnel as needed.
