Planning Commission
The
Planning Commission consists of 10 members of the community, who assist the
Planning Department, advise the City Council, and approve proposed Building Site
Plans and Planned Development Projects (PDPs). Members of the Planning
Commission are appointed by the mayor, and voted in by the passage of a
municipal order by the City Council. The Planning Commission meets the third
Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Council
Chambers of City Hall at 104 N. 5th St. To submit items to be considered by the
Planning Commission contact Candace Dowdy at 762-0330.

Meeting minutes will be posted after they are approved at the following Planning
Commission meeting. Audio tapes of meetings are available upon request at the
cost of a cassette tape. Check the city event calendar for the next meeting date
and time.
