Q. Who is required to buy city stickers and business licenses and how long
are they good?

Q. When and where are City Council, BZA, and Planning Commission meetings?
A. City Council meetings are 6:30 PM, 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.
Planning Commission meetings are 5:00 PM, 3rd Tuesday of each month. Board
of Zoning Adjustment meetings are 4:30 PM, 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Q. Who picks up dead animals?
A. If within the city limits, the Murray Sanitation Dept (270) 762-0380.

A. New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day

Can I apply if a job is not available?
A. Yes. Applications are kept in the Personnel Office for a period of six
months. See the Personnel page for an
application.
Q. If I have a job application in and I see a job advertised, do I need
to apply again?
A. That will depend on the job advertised. If you have failed to list on
your application certain skills that are a requirement of the job, it is
usually best to fill out another application. That makes us aware that you
are interested in the current position and you can be assured that your
application is up-to-date.
